Insurance and Billing
Like most businesses today, the cost of running a quality medical practice rises yearly. You need to be aware that your health insurance is a contract between you and the insurance company. You are responsible to pay your bill for my services. Your co-payments are due at the time of service. If your insurance does not fully reimburse us for our services, you are responsible for the balance due. We accept most insurance plans. The current list of these is available at our business office. We do not accept MediCal or HMO plans. We are no longer accepting new Medicare patients.
Some of the alternative therapies I offer are not covered by insurance. You may certainly elect to try only insurance covered treatments but if they are not working, have unacceptable side effects, or are not aligned with your health care philosophy, then I urge you to invest in your health by trying alternative treatments at your own expense. They are generally much less toxic, have far fewer serious complications and may be cheaper as well.
